So - nothing then. No surprise. Shame we never get the new pool they promised.

We visited on sunday to sort out our van. This season Burnham have a new entrance gate - wide enough for one vehicle, so only one way can go through at a time - the queue could get bad, no idea how they will work that one. It can't easily be changed because there is a brick built thing with plants in it on the other half of the road.
Other big money spend is new speed limit signs saying 9 3/4 mph. We didn't look round the whole park so may have missed something.

If someone could possibly get a picture of this new entrance gate that would be fantastic as i am intrigued to see how the area has changed does this mean there is a new security hut aswell or is this still the same garden shed that it always was

Hope you can help :)

hehe yes they have a new hut. When we got to the gate another came and waited too. The notice had a number to ring. Eventually someone from security stuck his head out of the hut - that is not that close to the gate - and waved to indicate we could go through.

So where abouts is the new hut located in relation to where the main entrance is is the new hut in place of the old one and just replaced it or is the new hut in a completely different place to the old one?

well, according to my daughter, there are now 2 huts (I wasn't paying that much attention), the new one is slightly nearer the main entrance, but in the same area as the other one.
As that looks like the biggest thing they have spent money on this season, I suppose its important to know these things lol.

Thinking of moving my van to Burnham next season.
How big is the showbar and is it easy to get a seat?
How many vans are on the site?
Are passes needed to get around the site, park shops etc? I heard it's all fenced off.
My kids like to take their own snacks into the club so what's the searching procedure?

Thanks.
