Yes, more visiting acts. We rarely go into the show bar as it is a filthy pit that hasn't had anything than the odd lick of paint for 30 years, and the park is huge now compared to what it used to be, so is way too small. We did go into see Jonathan Wilkes last year, and he was very good, but I think that was about it, whereas 10 years ago there used to regularly be acts you have heard of.

I completely agree with the need for bigger venues hate having to queue or having to get there early in order to get a seat early on for an act that doesn't start til late!! Its all good having live acts in owners lounge but cant fit many people in so once again think it'll be a case of queuing or not getting a seat

You'd be surprised about owners lounge. It never used to be open late.....so many owners requested it. Why couldn't we go there instead of having to sit in crowded venues etc., etc.,

So last year it came under the complex management and had late nights.....nobody went in!! I've literally seen two and three people in there on Sat night. And often absolutely nobody! You can never tell what people will do - I think this is why they've decided to see how the live acts evenings go before issuing tickets or asking people to book.

Its good u dont need to book & can just turn up suppose its trial & error. Will definitely give it a whirl

On Caister we have a live lounge that was refurbished a couple of years ago and is very nice. We also have seagulls club which is a bit tired and in need of a facelift. Attached to seagulls is the owners lounge which is lovely. It's a bit small to have visiting acts in there but the owners team out a lot of effort into running events. As others have said its a bit quiet in there and probably a little underused but sometimes it's just nice to go and sit in there quietly and have a chat with friends.
