RHYL will host its second beach festival next month with a host of fun activities.
The festival, which will feature a selection of sand-based sports, children’s activities, sand artist Ray Wirick and the Broke Freestyle Motor Cross Bike Display Team, will return to the town's promenade on Sunday, July 26.
Sian Davies, county events manager for Denbighshire Council, said: “Rhyl beach is the absolute jewel of the town and the ideal location for a beach festival.
"Denbighshire County Council welcomes this exciting addition to the summer’s event programme combining beautiful surroundings with a contemporary festival atmosphere.”
The Broke Freestyle Motor Cross Bike Display Team features the UK’s top ranked freestyle motocross riders.
Rhyl mayor, councillor Barry Mellor, said: "It is fantastic to see this event come back, it worked really well last year.
"With the events we have on this year, it has built on the event.
"It is good to be able to promote the town and the more we can do for both visitors and residents, the better."
Last year thousands of people headed to the resort for the festival which featured music from Britain's Got Talent star James Smith and indie rockers The Hoosiers.
The event will take place between 12-4pm.
