This is why we charge a bond on top of the holiday price and people are told if its left a real mess requiring extra cleaning it will taken from the bond money. People who object to a bond get binned as you don't wont people like that in your van they don't care.

You sound like you have had a thoroughly rotten time and particularly crappy *Guests*. The rental van next to us earlier in the year had to have a team of cleaners in and new crockery, pans, quilts etc. One of the cleaners had to leave the van as she felt sick. I shared the names of those renters as they contacted me the following week to ask about prices for my van for next year - NOT A CHANCE!

I think i would have paid them a visit and caused them some sleepless nights, i understand you could not do that.

I am thoroughly naffed off with the whole thing... I've kept their bond but they have been vile about it - and I mean that!

We are stuck between a rock and a hard place because until the loan is paid, we have to rent it out.... I could give it all up the way I'm feeling at the mo! :frown:

I'm starting to think that I should look for one at Combe Haven.
How much do they usually cost on average?
What would be the best way to find one?

Hi i would ask other owners at your park if they could recommend one.If you have a local shop near your park i would look there as our local one(just outside the park) has adverts for cleaners/maintenance people or you could post an ad there.Re prices not really sure as you might just need a check and on the other hand it might need a proper clean, also they would charge more for meeting guests and dealing with key hand over etc.Rosie
