Re: I'm so sorry, but I have to say goodbye

Keith.

Thanks for all your effort Andy i wish you well for the future. This forum was very valuable when we first took up ownership and will be a great loss to any new prospective owners.

No amount of words can say how much your efforts gave helped many people.

Enjoy what ever you do.

Re: Considering buying multiple vans......

Don't do it. If it was that profitable Haven would not sell vans to owners . One van for a lifestyle is great. Depends on your circumstances if you think Haven is the best for you. Personally I would not choose Haven. But as I say a personal choice. If you love an area look around for other sites as...

Re: Hello all, any advice on Weymouth parks much appreciated, Tia

Try looking at Bunn Leisure if you are also interested in non Haven sites. It is West Sussex. They are open from the 1st March with entertainment including Christmas Day. They also have an owners page on Facebook where you can advertise your van for rent. We don't rent so do not know how good it is....

Re: Hello all, any advice on Weymouth parks much appreciated, Tia

I can only offer advice on Weymouth bay. We were owners there for about 3 years and during that time it lacked investment. In fact all they did during that time was improve a few roads. The facilities are very lImited and the entertainment deteriated. We knew a lit of owners and are still in contact...

Re: Social / ballroom / latin dancing

Not dancing as you say but look at Bunn Leisure website and entertainment it is far superior and various than Haven.

They do have one club for country and line dancing most Saturday nights.

Re: another one of those newby questions but would appreciate advice please

As you are in Southampton have you looked at non Haven sites. We used to be at Weymouth bay and moved off due to the lack of investment and poor entertainment. Travelling to weymouth on a Friday 60 miles took 2 hours as well due to traffic. We have moved to Bunn Leisure only takes an hour and longer...

Re: WEymouth Bay Improvements

Knowing Weymouth Bay there will not be any improvements just site fee increase. A lot of the owners there are retired and do not use the facilities. Lack of investment was the reason we left and the best decision we made. Still miss our friends but we keep in touch with them as well as new ones made...

Re: 2016 Site Fees

Totally agree to look elsewhere. We moved in May to a non Haven site on the south coast. Site fees for next year are £1200 less than we paid at Haven so before the next increase. Site is open from 1 March until 7th January with entertainment all the time including Christmas and new year. Swimiiming ...

Re: Incident at Rockley yesterday.

Probably an unhappy owner as he had just seen his site fee increase!
