One of Warwickshire's largest stately homes will reopen to hotel guests in the New Year after a £50m refurbishment.
Studley House Hotel, formerly known as Studley Castle, was built in 1834 in the Gothic-Revival style.
Now it will reopen to guests in March 2019- giving them a taste of a life of luxury.
Just over half of the massive sum - around £26m - is being spent on reinstating original features from the 1800's.
The hotel will have a new bar and live music venue after the remaining £24m modernises the hotel.
The refurbishment of the 209-room hotel owners is being carried out by new owners, Warner Leisure.
The Grade II-listed property, designed in the 1830's by theatre architect Samuel Beazley, is the site of Warner's largest investment.
Close to Stratford and Redditch, the building has been a hotel for the last decade.
Previously it housed the marketing offices for car manufacturing giant Rover.
Simon Thompson, managing director of Warner Leisure Hotels, said: “Studley Castle signals a significant investment in the start of an exciting new era for Warner.
"We have a unique proposition in the market and Studley is set to support our growth in helping us become more relevant to existing and new audiences.”
The Warner Leisure hotel chain is part of Bourne Leisure who manage Butlins and Haven holidays, which owns 14 hotels in England and Wales.
