Re: Sub-Letting Deposits

We ask for £100 to secure the booking, or the full amount if the arrival date is less than 4 weeks away. We ask for the balance to be paid in full 4 weeks before the arrival date, and we also ask for a £50 damage deposit to be paid a week before the arrival date. This is returnable within 14 days of...

Re: another one of those newby questions but would appreciate advice please

That seems very cheap to me - I'd be suprised if you'd get that for the price stated, although it may be cheaper as it's a private van. You will certainly have site fees to pay on top of that, and there may be other extras such as steps, tv aerial, gas bottles and connectors, connection fees, not to...

Re: another one of those newby questions but would appreciate advice please

Not sure if its the official brochure but the one I picked up is small and thin and It looks more like a pamphlet than a brochure. There's the usual introduction about general entertainment and facilities and acco...

Re: Thinking of purchasing a caravan

We thought it would be easy to make a profit from letting out a caravan, but in reality we have never made a profit. The caravan will depreciate in value as soon as you buy it,( a bit like a car but the depreciation is huge) they are hard to sell on as parks prefer you to sell back to them at a loss...

Re: Winter visit Doniford Bay.

Hi All, Happy New Year! Don't want to steal your thunder, but we popped down today, (although we drove round rather than the pleasant walk we had planned as it was pouring with rain!). We saw a few changes, the concrete steps to the beach are now in place making it much easier to get onto the beach ...

Welcome to the forum, nice to see another member from Doniford joining us. We've had our van on Doniford for 2 seasons now after moving down from Thorpe Park.
